The kind of requests I usually get from the public are from TMJ Disease sufferers or their families looking for health practitioners who can help them. I personally never refer anyone I haven’t been to myself.
Anyway, I wanted to talk about the weather. In this heat, I have found that on days with high humidity or impending rain/thunderstorms my TMJ gets worse-usually combining with severe ear ache and headache. It is not pleasant. I wonder if my fellow TMJ sufferers find this to be true also?
What kind of other external factors influence your TMJ: stress, eating hard foods, talking t great deal?
Please let me know.
On another note, a friend sent me this link. It is good for general TMJ –although I don’t know if I would recommend all treatment options as I haven’t tried them all.
